Law 1-62, the “Health Spa Consumer Protection Act,” was introduced in Council and assigned Bill No. 1-63, which was referred to the Committee on Public Services and Consumer Affairs. The Bill was adopted on first and second readings on December 16, 1975 and January 13, 1976, respectively. Signed by the Mayor on February 10, 1976, it was assigned Act No. 1-92 and transmitted to both Houses of Congress for its review.
